To consider a reserved matters application pursuant to outline permission (15/02347/OUT, granted 21/06/2016) for the approval of appearance, landscaping, layout & scale comprising 162 houses with a road linking Torbay Road with Station Road and associated public open space, landscaping and engineering works.

That planning permission for 19/01871/REM Reserved matters application pursuant to outline permission (15/02347/OUT, granted 21/06/2016) for the approval of appearance, landscaping, layout & scale comprising 162 houses with a road linking Torbay Road with Station Road and associated public open space, landscaping and engineering works at Land Os 1445 Part Torbay Road Castle Cary Somerset BA7 7DT be GRANTED subject to the stated planning conditions and the obligations within the S106 Agreement (dated 17/06/2016) associated with the outline permission. 

Voting: 13 in favour (unanimous)

To consider an outline application for residential development of up to 100 dwellings, the formation of a new access onto Watercombe Lane, associated open space and landscaping.

That planning permission for 17/03320/OUT Outline application for residential development of up to 100 dwellings, the formation of a new access onto Watercombe Lane, associated open space and landscaping at Land West Of Bunford Hollow, West Coker, Yeovil be GRANTED subject to the prior completion of a Section 106 Planning Obligation / Agreement and the stated planning conditions. Delegated to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Area Chair (South).

Voting: 12 in favour, 1 abstention.

To consider an outline application with some matters reserved except access for the erection of up to 85 dwellings, associated public open space, landscaping, drainage and access.

That planning permission for 23/02549/OUT Outline Application with some matters reserved except access for the erection of up to 85 dwellings, associated public open space, landscaping, drainage and access at Land At Bunford Hollow, West Of Watercombe Lane & East Of Broadleaze Farm, West Coker be GRANTED subject to the prior completion of a Section 106 Planning Obligation / Agreement and the stated planning conditions. Delegated to the Head of Planning in consultation with the Area Chair (South).

Voting: 12 in favour, 1 abstention.

ADDITIONAL VOTE

Following the above vote, a proposal was made to refer the delegation in respect of the tenure split of both planning applications 17/03320/OUT and 23/02549/OUT to the Council’s Housing team in consultation with the Head of Planning and the Area Chair and Vice-Chair (South). This was duly seconded and carried by 12 in favour and 1 abstention.

To note the appeals report
