The Chair will allow members of the public to present a petition on any matter within the Committee’s remit. Questions or statements about the matters on the agenda for this meeting will be taken at the time when the matter is considered and after the Case Officers have made their presentations. Each speaker will be allocated 3 minutes. The length of public question time will be no more than 30 minutes.

Decision:

The Committee Resolved in respect of Planning Application No. SCC/3619/2019:

 

(a) that planning permission be GRANTED subject to the Conditions set out in Section 9 of the Officer’s report, and Condition 5 being amended to require records of the emissions from the pyrolyser as well as details of all waste entering the site being made available to the Waste Planning Authority at any time upon request.

 

     (b) that authority to undertake any minor non-material editing which may be necessary to the wording of those Conditions be delegated to the Strategic Commissioning Manager, Economy and Planning.

     The Committee Resolved in respect of Planning Application No. SCC/3630/2019:

 

     (a) that planning permission be GRANTED subject to the Conditions set out in Section 8 of the Officer’s report, and an additional Condition regarding measures to prevent detritus being carried onto the highway by heavy goods vehicles. 

 

     (b) that authority to undertake any minor non-material editing which may be necessary to the wording of these Conditions be delegated to the Strategic Commissioning Manager, Economy and Planning.

Proposed Variation of Planning Condition to Allow Increased Use of External Sports Facilities at Nerrols Primary School, Land off Nerrols Drive, Taunton TA2 8QE pdf icon PDF 138 KB

     The Committee Resolved in respect of Planning Application No. SCC/3652/2019:

  

     (a) that planning permission be GRANTED subject to the Conditions set out in Section 9 of the Officer’s report, and to the final paragraph of Condition 6 being amended to read: "Thereafter, the external sports facilities shall not be used except between the hours of 08.30h and 17.00h during weekday term-time periods only, and shall only be used by the school during those permitted hours, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Reason: To limit the noise impacts on residential amenity.

  

(b) that authority to undertake any minor non-  material editing which may be necessary to the wording of these Conditions be delegated to the Strategic Commissioning Manager, Economy and Planning.
