South West Peninsula Framework Contract for Independent Fostering To consider the report. Additional documents: Decision: Following consideration of the officer report, appendix and discussion the Cabinet RESOLVED to authorise the Director of Children’s Services to enter into the Peninsula Framework for independent fostering for a period of 4 years (48 months) from 1st April 2018.

Confirmation of National Funding Formula for Schools and High Needs To consider the report. Decision: Following consideration of the officer report and discussion the Cabinet resolved to:
1. Approve the allocation of Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) for delegation to Somerset Schools and High Needs provision, (including Academies and Free schools)
2. Devolve approval of the final formula allocations at individual school level for 2018/19 (received 19 December 2017) to the Cabinet Member for Children and Families and the Cabinet Member for Resources and Economic Development.
